New from Sokkia

New from Sokkia

ALMERE, The Netherlands - SOKKIA BV, European head office, proudly announces the release of the new ATP1S 360° Sliding Prism for use with SRX Robotic Total Stations.

The ATP1S is exclusively designed for the new RC-PR4 pin pole system. The ATP1S slides along the “PP2” pin pole installed at the bottom of the RC-PR4. The prism height can be quickly adjusted from 10cm to 40cm. The lower prism height makes it easier to achieve highly accurate measurement.

The ATP1S is equipped with a built-in circular level to ensure the highest precision in all surveying and engineering applications, specifically in setting-out measurement. The ATP1S, as well as the ATP1 standard 360° prism, provide exceptional distance measurement accuracy equal to that of standard prisms.

Maximum Efficiency

The SRX On-Demand Remote Control System realizes instant prism search/lock capability that minimizes the drawbacks of other instruments. A wide variety of attachments and accessories makes it possible to compose a unique prism system ideally suited to the user’s specific needs.

The new ATP1S 360° Sliding Prism in combination with the RC-PR4 Remote Control further enhances the mobility and versatility of remote control systems and maximizes work efficiency with SRX robotic total stations.

The new RC-PR4 On-Demand Remote Control System for SOKKIA SRX Total Stations

The RC-PR4 is a new prism-side controller that handles on-demand prism search and wireless communication between a data collector and the SRX total station. The following major improvements greatly enhance work efficiency while reducing fatigue in all applications:

1. A drastically downsized body weighs only 420g including detachable battery – less than 40% of the former controller.

2. Operating time is extended to 40 hours – nearly 3 times as long as the former model.

3. In conjunction with the new ATP1S prism and a pin pole, an extremely handy prism system can be configured.

The RC-PR4 incorporates a search fan beam emitter, a built-in directional sensor, a long-range Bluetooth© wireless modem for two external devices, a battery compartment and control keys.
