August 2007 - New VHR images of Russian towns from EROS satellites. In July two EROS satellites (Earth Resources Observation System) successfully delivered VHR images of 14 towns and regions in Russia.
Two ScanEx ground stations in Moscow and Irkutsk acquired low cloud EROS A images (at 1.9 m of resolution and 14 km of scene width) of the towns of Adler, Vladikavkaz, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Sochi, Tumen, Usinsk and of some areas in Rostov Region, Republic of Komi and the near-Elbrus areas.
The other EROS B satellite (0.7 m resolution and 7 km scene width) took the images of Irkutsk, Omsk and Saratov in July.
EROS satellites data reception and distribution was started based on the license agreement between ImageSat Int. and ScanEx Center.
Preliminary EROS-A data preview is available on-line using catalog. To purchase these images or to order new ones, please contact ScanEx at: (495) 651-3587, (495) 651-3590 or e-mail to: sales@scanex.ru.
