New EROS images of Russian and CIS towns

Two satellites of EROS series of the Israeli ImageSat Int. RS Operator have replenished the archives of ScanEx RDC with new images of large cities and towns in Russia and CIS starting the 2009 imaging season.

Space images from EROS A satellite at 1.9 m resolution have been acquired for the towns of Adler, Sochi (eastern areas), as well as of the unique settlement and the island of Utrish at the Black Sea coast.

EROS B satellite has updated the ScanEx’s archives with the 0.7 m resolution data over the territory of some Ukrainian towns: Dnepropetrovsk, Khmelnitsky (eastern and western areas), Kerch, and Simferopol (eastern part). The satellite also delivered images of the eastern districts of Minsk and Kishinev cities, of Kirov and Sochi airport.

Updated information about cities and large towns make satellite imagery an indispensable source of geo-spatial products.

Images of EROS series satellites are available in the www.kosmosnimki.ru geoportal catalog.

ScanEx RDC accepts orders for archived data and new images of the areas of interest in Russia and CIS at the telephone +7(495)739-73-85 or by e-mail sales@scanex.ru.

More information about using satellite data, including EROS A/B images, will be available at the 4th International Conference "Earth from Space – the Most Effective Solutions". Everyone can take part in the conference. Registration of participants is already ongoing.
