The NZ Geographical Society Conference in 2010 includes a GIScience themed session entitled: "GIScience thoughts, theories and thaumatolatry", for which we would welcome submissions.
The keynote conference speakers are:
Dr. Matt Duckham
Professor Lisa Parks
Professor John Wilson
The GIScience themed session branded with the term GIScience, be it what it may, aims to gather together GIScientists, be they what they may, to present on all things GIScience. The spectrum of such presentations includes novel research that involves the development of new ideas, theories or methods, or simply the admiration of new and wonderful GIScience technologies.
Please submit a title, author/s, affiliation/s, 200 word abstract, and up to five keywords to Femke Reitsma (femke.reitsma@canterbury.ac.nz)
and Pip Forer (p.forer@auckland.ac.nz)
