NAVTEQ platinum partner at Benelux B2B event

19 September, 2007 – NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital map data for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, will participate as a platinum partner in the navigation event taking place on October 3 at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. The navigation event will be the largest B2B event in the Benelux and is organised for the third time by Jakajima. The event includes of a seminar, expo, rally and awards show.

The day will centre around navigation and its possibilities for the future. In its own showroom NAVTEQ and its partners will be showcasing the latest products in navigation. Among the partners will be Nokia, Garmin, LG and Becker. For a full rundown of the attending partners please visit

On behalf of NAVTEQ Serge Bussat, VP-General manager Consumer Europe, will host a seminar on NAVTEQ’s view of the future developments of navigation. He will be discussing onboard versus connected navigation, built in car navigation, Location Based Services and technology trends. Visitors will also have the unique opportunity to experience for themselves how the digital map data is collected in one of NAVTEQ’s Digital Mapping Operations (DMO) cars.

Besides seminars, product demonstrations and product tests there will be a rally to determine which PND (portable navigation device) is the best in its class.

About the Navigation Event

This is the third annual navigation event. Taking place at the Hightech Campus in Eindhoven, players from the navigation market, along with resellers, retailers, content providers, representatives from the car industry and the travel business will be there to discuss the future and present status of navigation.
