NAVTEQ Platinum Sponsor at Telogis Summit 2009

Newport Beach, CA, January 26, 2009 – NAVTEQ, a leading global provider of digital map data for location-based solutions and vehicle navigation, today announced from the Telogis GeoBase Technology Summit 2009 its participation as a platinum sponsor. At this symposium, NAVTEQ is highlighting its world-wide map database offered through the Telogis platform. Additionally, NAVTEQ is providing overviews of other products available to Telogis customers, including NAVTEQ Transport™ and NAVTEQ Traffic™.

The summit offers Telogis customers and developers the opportunity to learn more about the GeoBase platform by participating in forums and technical sessions, and collaborating with peers and the Telogis development staff. Sessions, client and technology panels and training courses are designed to maximize GeoBase knowledge for attendees.

NAVTEQ Transport includes critical attributes required to enable sophisticated truck navigation as well as routing and dispatch optimization. NAVTEQ Traffic provides continuously streamed information about traffic conditions. This product is comprised of flow and incident data aggregated and tested from multiple sources including GPS vehicular probes, roadway sensors and Operations Centers. NAVTEQ Traffic is a premier provider of real-time traffic services that offers comprehensive, reliable nationwide coverage.

Attendees can also learn more about NAVTEQ’s breadth of coverage available to the Telogis customer community. Spanning 74 countries and territories on six continents, the NAVTEQ map is one of the most robust and accurate geographic databases in the world.
