NAVTEQ Map Foundation for ESRI’s StreetMap Premium

Chicago – March 16, 2009 – NAVTEQ, a leading global provider of digital map data for location-based solutions and vehicle navigation, today announced that ESRI, a foremost provider of geographic information system (GIS) technologies, has selected NAVTEQ data for the updated version of its StreetMap Premium solution.

Available on ESRI’s ArcGIS platforms, StreetMap Premium provides geocoding, routing and high-quality map display capabilities. This latest edition includes expanded coverage of ready-to-use datasets based on NAVTEQ maps for Europe, US and Canada which each contain comprehensive street, road network and base map data.
