Masternaut puts performance on the big screen

Masternaut puts performance on the big screen

Masternaut Three X has launched a performance management solution called VisuLive that provides easy visual information on big screens allowing managers and team members to keep watch on their entire business from one place. VisuLive allows an instant check on activities and performance through large graphics including maps, graphs, charts, and bird's eye aerial views of mobile resources using Microsoft Virtual Earth.

With VisuLive managers can access important information in real-time giving them the power to make informed decisions and react to changes as they happen. This is the first time that a technological solution has come to market that brings the power of key performance indicators (KPI) and business intelligence to any business, enabling them to act by anticipating customer needs and proactively preventing potential problems before they happen.

VisuLive takes information from various inputs including Masternaut Three X's vehicle tracking and PDA based mobile workforce applications, as well as other existing back office systems. This information is displayed on large user-friendly screens or plasma monitors, allowing busy managers to instantly recognise success and focus on key outcomes. This real time availability of information also helps them to support their teams in attaining the most stringent KPIs and so promote the development of a results driven culture that is essential in today’s competitive markets.

VisuLive can automatically warn of a potentially late delivery, allowing customer service agents to manage customer expectations with a courtesy call. Whether in a service, logistics or sales setting, VisuLive offers a powerful tool for managing, monitoring and enhancing any business operation.

“VisuLive is one of the most important developments to date that enables successful business management. We make extensive use of the system ourselves and now many of our customers are realizing the benefit of easy access to real-time information. People often talk about dynamic businesses while meaning reactive businesses; with VisuLive we have changed this outlook by allowing companies to act on business intelligence rather than react to past events,” says Martin Port, Managing Director of Masternaut Three X.

Masternaut Three X are recognised as leaders in vehicle tracking and mobile software solutions. Including Europe there are now over 100,000 subscribers to Masternaut Three X and turnover this year will reach £50 million. Last year the UK company won acclaim as one of the fastest growing technology companies with a listing in the Tech Track 100, the Sunday Times Award supported by Microsoft.

This Month's Burning Issue...
Each month we select a hot topic and a leading figure in the industry to write about it.
This month's burning issue:

What message are we sending to senior level decision makers about the importance and value of Spatial Data Infrastructure - SDI - if we keep misrepresenting what SDI is or is all about?

In previous editorials in this magazine I have touched on various SDI issues, especially now that the pan-European SDI has achieved a legally mandated status within the European Union's 27 Member States. Yet I fear that the Geographic Information community - or communities, for there are many - continue to… More…
