MapMechanics launches Pointers webinars

Users of GeoConcept and TruckStops, two of the leading software solutions from MapMechanics, can now benefit from expert advice, strategic support and practical hands-on guidance in ways to get more out of their investment – all from the convenience of their own desk.

A programme of one-hour trainer-led webinars on these two key ranges of software has been launched by MapMechanics under the name MM Pointers, and each series will run regularly every month until the autumn.

The webinars will all help businesses save time by using their software more efficiently, and will explain and illustrate new features that enable them to take on tasks that were not possible before.

Additionally, each webinar will focus on specific functions, processes or tasks that the solution can handle, and help users understand and exploit the latest possibilities more quickly and cost-effectively.

For GeoConcept users, the webinars will focus on activities such as increasing revenue by using thematic maps to identify sales opportunities; using drivetimes and thematic mapping to identify gaps and overlaps and monitor business performance; and communicating more effectively with improved labelling, appearance and display.

They will also show how effective use of mapping can contribute to strategic planning, and can help users to understand their customer base, view and display trends, improve control, and become more responsive to customer demands.

For TruckStops users, the webinars will offer many similar insights, as well as helping to show how users can reduce costs and carbon emissions by improving the quality of their routes; increase control of transport through enhanced reporting; and improve customer service with better scheduling using improved journey-time modelling.

The full timetable is available on the website. All webinars start at 2pm and last approximately one hour. Anyone interested can visit the link below, or telephone +44 (0)020 8568 7000.
