SuperGeo, a leading global provider of complete GIS solutions, announces Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), the official institute for the management and development of palm oil in Malaysia, selects SuperPad to be the assistance to manage palm oil resource.

Malaysia has the rich palm oil resources and it has brought great economic benefits for Malaysia. Malaysian Government values the development of palm oil industry highly. Established in 2000, MPOB is a government agency under the purview of the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities, managing and planning the related developing schemes and administrative affairs. Since the establishment, MPOB has been looking for technology and IT products to increase the value, quality, and sales of palm oil. SuperPad is thus procured by the GIS Department in MPOB for field work in palm oil groves.

Through the recommendation of Axis Commerce, SuperGeo’s exclusive reseller in Malaysian market, MPOB selects SuperPad for effective data collection and analysis. SuperPad, SuperGeo’s Mobile GIS Software, provides user-friendly interface and powerful GIS along with GPS functions for the field staff to collect, and edit palm oil resource rapidly and efficiently. SuperPad also supports the administrative personnel for better palm oil grove management.

“Many organizations such as MPOB need GIS solutions that are scalable, efficiency and provide comprehensive functionalities,” said Super Wang, CEO of SuperGeo Technologies Inc. “SuperPad, the professional mobile GIS software, will not only help MPOB eliminate error to effectively raise their work efficiency and productivity, but also significantly save time and cost for data management.”
