The market of location is moving forward in high gear and users are finding value in Location enabled services. Though applications related to location have achieved success, but they have not attained mass market acceptance. A collaborative model that safeguards location data, enables rapid integration and introduction of innovative LBS content and services into the marketplace and interoperability between customers on a range of networks is a key to making location enabled services ubiquitous.
Location Summit 2.0, the first Global Summit on Positioning and Navigation with the theme "Towards Collaborative Model", brings together the pioneers, industry leaders and developers who are setting the direction for the future of location technologies and markets, guiding the development of new applications and shaping the way to meet the challenge of making location enabled services ubiquitous. It has been designed to provide an opportunity for the industry, sharing a common interest and goals, to come together on a platform to discuss, network and benefit from analysis and debate on critical market trends and issues. The Summit will reflect the direction in which the location industry is moving, taking in, among other subjects, the potential of emerging markets, opportunities, selling solutions into businesses, and the future of the market.
