LizardTech Exhibits at the 2010 GEOINT Tech Days

SEATTLE, Wash. – May 19, 2010 – LizardTech, a division of Celartem Inc. and a provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, announced they will be exhibiting in booth #205 at the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) GEOINT Tech Days held at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Va. on May 20.

“We look forward to exhibiting at this year’s conference and to sharing some of our most recent work on third-party application support for MrSID with the intelligence community,” said Jon Skiffington, LizardTech’s director of marketing. “In particular, we’re excited to share the recent integration of our GeoExpress Raster DSDK into Applied Imagery’s Quick Terrain Modeler version 7.1.0. This is exciting news for our Department of Defense (DoD) customers who currently work with MrSID imagery and also use the Quick Terrain Modeler for terrain visualization. They can now quickly merge their MrSID imagery with LiDAR point cloud data and other DEMs for greater application.”

More information on LizardTech’s third party integrations as well as demonstrations of their complete line of geospatial software will be available in booth #205. LizardTech’s products include LiDAR Compressor software, designed to turn giant point cloud data sets into efficient MrSID files, GeoExpress software for image compression and manipulation, Spatial Express software for storage, and Express Server software for high-performance image delivery and distribution.

LizardTech has been a member of USGIF since 2006. Information about LizardTech’s line of geospatial software products can be obtained here: http://www.lizardtech.com/products/suite/
