Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging Map India 2008

Norcross, GA —Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging announces its silver sponsorship at Map India, February 6-8, 2008 at India Expo Centre EXPO XXI, in Greater Nodia, India.

Brad Skelton, CTO, Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging is a keynote speaker at the conference, presenting “Driving the Use of Remote Sensing into the Mainstream.” Additionally, Leica Geosystems is also hosting a seminar on “Enterprise GIS.”

Exhibiting in booth #14, Leica Geosystems is showcasing several products implementing Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs), including innovative solutions for efficiently storing and quickly sharing geospatial data and web services throughout the enterprise. These solutions completely adhere to Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) interoperability. In the OGC, Leica Geosystems recently became a Strategic Member, obtaining the organization’s highest level of membership.

Leica Geosystems is also highlighting Leica Photogrammetry Suite (LPS) 9.1, the industry’s leading integrated photogrammetric product for preparing data, and ERDAS IMAGINE 9.1, the foremost remote sensing solution for analyzing geospatial imagery. Additionally, Leica Geosystems is featuring several other enterprise solutions, including RedSpider Suite, Image Web Server (IWS) and Leica ADE.
