Graz, Austria — May 21, 2010 — Keystone Aerial Surveys, Inc., has contracted with Vexcel Imaging GmbH, a Microsoft® company, to purchase an UltraCamLp medium-format camera system.
”Keystone started adding digital imagery collection and processing services in 2005 with the purchase of our first UltraCamD camera,” said Mary Potter, GISP, President of Keystone Aerial Surveys. “When the UltraCamX became available we were among the first adopters. We quickly recognized its advantages, upgraded our D to an X and bought a third UltraCamX to round out our capability. Our transition to digital from analog is ongoing, and we are excited to add another Vexcel Imaging product, the UltraCamLp, to our resources.”
The UltraCamLp photogrammetric medium-format digital aerial camera provides a reliable and economical solution for producing image data of exceptional quality. Taking advantage of the large-format camera concept that has proven successful with the UltraCamX, UltraCamXp and UltraCam Xp Wide Angle, the UltraCamLp offers the same geometric accuracy and dynamic range to the medium-format market.
“We are pleased to provide Keystone Aerial Surveys with its fourth UltraCam camera system,” said Alexander Wiechert, Business Director of Microsoft and Managing Director for Vexcel Imaging GmbH. “The UltraCamLp is an excellent choice from a price/performance perspective for entry into the medium-format digital market.”
