Ken Tomaselli new V-P at Metacarta

CAMBRIDGE, MA -- August 12, 2008 -- MetaCarta, Inc., the leading provider of geographic search and referencing solutions, is pleased to announce that Ken Tomaselli has joined as its vice president of public sector and intelligence sales based in Vienna, VA. Ken will be responsible for all sales, business development and field activities within the public sector and the intelligence communities.

Tomaselli brings 20 years of sales experience with a strong track record in government sales and business development. He joins MetaCarta directly from 3PAR Government Systems where he served as Director of Federal
Operations. Tomaselli has also held senior sales and management positions at Symantec Software Corporation, Veritas Software Corporation, Edgemark Systems, Frame Technology (purchased by Adobe Systems) and Xerox Imaging Systems.
