REMINDER - Call for Papers
Deadline September 1, 2008
The deadline is getting closer for the ILMF 09 Call for Papers. The Conference Technical Committee is seeking papers and work-in-progress reports on all aspects of airborne and bathymetry LiDAR with a particular emphasis on papers that address the key commercial and technical issues facing the industry.
The International Lidar Mapping Forum is the premier event for the LiDAR industry attracting professionals from all over the world looking to invest in and benefit from LiDAR technology and services. The next event is scheduled for January 26 – 28, 2009 in New Orleans, USA.
The last ILMF, in February 2008, saw record growth in attendance which reflects the growing importance of LiDAR to the world’s mapping industries as the key way to acquire massive amounts of high resolution digital data in an extremely cost effective manner. More than 580 delegates registered from 32 countries (up from approximately 250 the year before).
