GSDI has launched a new membership category for individuals called the International
Geospatial Society .
Costs are US $50 per year (students US $25).
Benefits include being able to:
- Contribute to and benefit from the network of individuals,
- Develop partnerships,
- Support collectively developing nation initiatives and markets,
- Help build recommendations on SDI Best practices,
- Be labelled a founding individual GSDI member (until end 2009),
- Join special sessions at GSDI conferences.
