Intergraph's Halsey Wise Finalist in 2010 Awards

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., May 17, 2010 - Intergraph Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Halsey Wise has been named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2010 Alabama/ Georgia/Tennessee award program.

Wise was among 20 outstanding entrepreneurs from the region selected by an independent judging panel made up of past winners as well as business and community leaders. Intergraph is the leading global provider of engineering and geospatial software.

"Entrepreneurship is especially vital as our nation continues its recovery," said Joseph A. King, partner and a director of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year program.

"These finalists create jobs in our area, encouraging healthy growth, development and innovation in the local economies."

"The nomination for this prestigious Ernst & Young award is truly recognition of the people of Intergraph for their constant commitment to our organizational transformation and growth mission," said Wise. "Entrepreneurial spirit is integral to our company as we continue to innovate, grow and lead in the industries we serve globally."

Intergraph's software and services empower customers to build and operate more efficient plants and ships, create intelligent maps and protect critical infrastructure and millions of people around the world. Under Wise's leadership and his "Now-Next-After Next" business transformation plan, Intergraph has increased EBITDA from $42 million in 2003 to levels expected to exceed $200 million for 2010, a CAGR of over 28 percent per year. Even in the volatile global recession of 2009, Wise led Intergraph to increased market share, greater profitability and record levels of customer satisfaction. In addition, since 2003 the company has invested more than $550 million in R&D and filed for 150 patent applications in 25 countries.

This year, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards program celebrates its 24th anniversary. The program has expanded to recognize entrepreneurs in over 135 cities in 50 countries throughout the world. Awards are given to entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
