Intergraph Expand Motion Video Exploitation

Intergraph Expand Motion Video Exploitation

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., May 21, 2010 – Intergraph® has expanded its Motion Video Exploitation solution, a powerful platform that enables defense and military analysts to geospatially integrate video with multiple intelligence sources to provide situational awareness and actionable intelligence.

Intergraph GeoMedia® Motion Video Analyst Professional, a full-motion video analysis product, empowers military, coalition forces and agencies to exploit and analyze full motion video from UAVs and other moving vehicles, and combines with image analysis and surface analysis products to provide unprecedented situational awareness and strategic decision making capabilities.

The Motion Video Exploitation solution allows users to geospatially integrate full-motion video with multiple sources of intelligence data and facilitates the analysis of all types of geospatial intelligence including raster maps, vector data, motion video, satellite imagery and signal intelligence. Additionally, users’ clipmarks and annotations are stored within the system allowing for easy retrieval based on a query of location, time or any attribute of the video.

With the Motion Video Exploitation solution, agencies can integrate and fuse full motion video with other data formats to generate a complete, three-dimensional operational picture.

“The introduction of GeoMedia Motion Video Analyst Professional opens a new level of geospatial visualization, processing and analysis capabilities,” said Brig. Gen. Jack Pellicci, U.S. Army (Ret.), general manager of the Intergraph Federal, Security and Intelligence business unit. “This is an important new offering to enable military and civilian agencies to process and query the vast and ever increasing amounts of video and other data for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance activities.”

Intergraph will lend its extensive experience in geospatial data fusion and forensic video analysis to the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation’s Motion Imagery Workshop, a gathering of leaders from the Department of Defense and intelligence communities held today in Reston, Va. Rob Mott, Intergraph vice president, military and intelligence solutions, will moderate a discussion entitled “Intelligence Perspective” that will feature several experts from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Mott will facilitate exploration of the intelligence perspective of full motion video and solicit best-practices with respect to analyzing and maximizing the usage of motion video.
