Instructor-Led Online Training for FME Users

Vancouver, BC, August 24, 2010 – Safe Software today announced the expansion of its FME Training Program, with the addition of Instructor-Led Online Training. Ideal for users who can’t afford the time or expense of traveling to a training facility, this new training alternative enables easier access to a broader range of data interoperability topics.

Taught by Safe's FME Certified Trainers, Online Training courses are delivered in an interactive virtual classroom and are an excellent hands-on learning alternative. Class size is limited to the same number of participants as Safe's Classroom Training courses, ensuring that students get the personal attention they need to optimize their learning experience.

"When time and cost is a factor, the virtual classroom is an excellent alternative," commented Lawrence Chong, Technical Data Support Technologist at Transport Canada, an online participant in the pilot program. "The pace of the course was just right."

Through Instructor-Led Online Training, FME users with common interests also have easier access to a greater variety of advanced data interoperability topics. "We are committed to helping people master spatial data transformation challenges", says Don Murray, President of Safe Software. "With our new online option for one-on-one training, even more FME users from all corners of the globe can interact and learn how solve common data interoperability headaches."

Upcoming Instructor-Led Online courses include FME for the Esri Enthusiast on September 22 – 23, 2010. Private classes for your company can also be arranged on request. To register for an upcoming course, or for more information on Safe’s catalogue of Fall 2010 training courses, go to the link below.
