Infotech signs an MOU with SNIST

Hyderabad, August 13th 2010 - Infotech Enterprises Limited, a Global Technology Solutions provider, head quartered at Hyderabad, signed an MOU with SNIST - Sreenidhi Institute of Science & Technology (in collaboration with Vaughn College of Aero & Tech, NY, USA). The MOU was signed by Mr. B. Ashok Reddy, President – Global HR and Corporate Affairs, Infotech Enterprises Limited and Dr. P. Narasimha Reddy, Director, SNIST, Hyderabad.

This MOU signed by Infotech is the first with an institute which specializes in Avionics. As per Infotech’s campus connect initiative, the chief objective of this MOU is to jointly work for the purpose of enhancing the quality of technical education imparted to students of SNIST in different streams like B.S. Program in Electronics Engineering Technology (Avionics), B.Tech, M. Tech. (Mechanical, Electronics,) in related Avionics segment and other branches associated to the nature of projects carried out by Infotech.

The scope of the collaboration envisages increasing the employability of students by offering internship on live projects for faculty and staff of Avionics at Infotech Bangalore on areas related to Avionics Hardware and Software. Infotech will be conducting special technical lectures by its senior practioners, provide practical training, and working with SNIST management towards strengthening the curriculum to align the industry requirements with the institute.

Mr. B. Ashok Reddy, President Global Human Resources and Corporate Affairs, Infotech Enterprises Limited said, “This is a mutually rewarding partnership for Infotech and SNIST. For SNIST, this relationship will ensure that their students are employable and for Infotech, it creates- ready to employ - quality Engineering Talent. Besides offering programs on soft skills, we would encourage our senior technical executives to spare their time in imparting knowledge on the latest developments in Technology through various faculty programs“.

Dr. P. Narasimha Reddy, Director, SNIST, Hyderabad said, “We are proud to be associated with Infotech, a large Engineering services enterprise with proven leadership in Avionics. This MOU would go a long way in enhancing the value of the curriculum offered at SNIST and will enable Infotech to tap into specialized skills in Avionics sector.”

Infotech has been actively promoting partnership between the Industry and Institution by signing MoUs with two Engineering Colleges from Hyderabad and a Polytechnic from Kakinada.
