Leonberg, February 16, 2009 - Infotech Enterprises Japan, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infotech Enterprises Limited and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), world’s leading heavy machinery manufacturer have signed a framework agreement under which Infotech will provide engineering services support to MHI. This is the first engagement for Infotech in Japan after the commencement of the company’s cooperation a few months ago in the country.
Under the agreement, Infotech will be a technology partner to MHI and will provide engineering services ranging from conceptual to detailed design, analysis, MRO, manufacturing process and technical publications. Infotech will contribute substantially to various product portfolios of MHI which includes aerospace, gas turbine, energy, plant, rail, and ship building.
The scope of this agreement encompasses MHI and all its subsidiaries including Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation where Infotech will be a major partner in the MRJ program. This is a multi-year agreement with options for extension.
Announcing the relationship, BVR Mohan Reddy, CMD of Infotech Enterprises Limited said, “The engagement with MHI offers excellent scope for widening Infotech’s domain expertise in engineering including aerospace engineering. This would enable stretching the boundaries of advanced technology and innovation from both sides.”

Infotech is a preferred engineering partner to global aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and tier-1 suppliers providing mechanical engineering, electronic design and technical documentation services.
