Infotech Adds a Senior Consultant to the UTG Team

Sterling, VA, September 2010 - Infotech is pleased to announce the hire of Rajnish Chauhan as the newest team member within our Utility vertical. As a Senior Consultant, Rajnish will support the North American sales team in positioning GIS services as well as identifying new services for the Utility market. His role will also include working closely with our utility clients in consulting assignments and providing support in research and development of industry trends.

Rajnish has over 10 years of experience in Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) working with utilities across the world, which includes NPL Philippines, Coned and Southern Cal USA, National Grid UK, Power Grid India, etc. His expertise includes Independent System Operators (ISO) / Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) operations, energy markets as well as smart grid initiatives and its impact on system operations, wind generation forecasting, and integration. He possesses a unique set of skills working with EMS vendors developing software for electric utilities as well as ISO / RTO as end users of the EMS software. Rajnish is an expert in project management, process improvement, and software development lifecycle as well as has excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.
