INNOGISTIC LAUNCHES COMMUNITY MAP

Innogistic announces the launch of Community Map a new product designed to facilitate the creation of powerful yet easy to use Public Service web sites.

Mapping based web sites give Local Authorities and other public services the ideal platform for sharing information with, and gaining feedback from, the community they serve. Community Map from Innogistic has been developed to make on-line information access and incident reporting a simple, trouble-free experience.
Community Map consists of a set of pre-configured, yet highly customisable web mapping pages and tools, which provide powerful public information and feedback functionality, through an easy to use web interface. The solution is made up of a number of separate modules, each delivering different search, report, alert and browse functionality. Each module is designed to make access to community information as simple and easy as possible. The powerful tools allow the visitor to find on-line answers to a wide range of enquiries with the minimum of interaction or need for experience in web map tools.

Dan Ormsby, Innogistic’s Commercial Director said: “The different modules within Community Map have been specifically developed to take the web site user straight to the information they need with the minimum of fuss. They were developed with input from several of our customers so as to provide an uncomplicated solution for the provision of interactive map based information portals, a powerful tool for reducing avoidable contacts and achieving NI14 targets”.

Dan Continued: “All public authorities are under pressure from Central Government to develop on-line customer services that reduce avoidable contacts. We are very proud of Community Map and are sure that it will be particularly welcomed in the sector. We have already had considerable interest from our existing customers and feel that there is significant potential right across the public sector. Community Map is the first to market from a new range of products which we are developing; this is a very exciting time for Innogistic.”
