Handheld Group Receives ISO Certifications

Handheld receives ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates for Quality and Environmental Management standards from ISO, the International Organization for Standardization

Handheld Group, the global supplier of rugged mobile computers has obtained ISO certifications for Quality and Environmental Management. ISO certification is voluntary and provides assurance for Handheld’s worldwide customers that Handheld meets established international standards for product quality, service and support. ISO is the world’s largest developer and publisher of international standards.

The ISO 9001 (quality) certification defines what Handheld does to fulfill customer quality requirements, applicable regulatory requirements, steps taken to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve continual improvement of its performance.

The ISO 14001 (environmental management) certification defines the actions taken by Handheld for a better environment and includes guidelines on how to be a responsible company working in a sustainable manner.
