CRANFORD, NJ, September 11 , 2009 - Intergis, developer and marketer of the world’s most intelligent GPS and wireless tracking products, is introducing the state-of-the-art GT2 Security Force Locator, to provide real time indoor and outdoor performance monitoring of security personnel. The system will be introduced at the 55th Annual American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Seminar and Exhibits in Anaheim, California on September 21-24th (Booth # 4176).
As part of its “cash for clunkers” program, Guardtrax will accept trade-ins of outdated electronic guard tour wands, providing $100 credit towards the purchase of a new GT2 unit purchased at the booth or until December 31, 2009. Trade-in options are available for existing Guardtrax customers as well. “Although we can quantify the savings and productivity enhancements using our new GT2, guard companies these days need a great incentive to change,” explains Mike Petty, vice president of sales for Guardtrax. “Our ASIS “security stimulus” program will help them immediately leapfrog their security guard competitors and offer their own customers a device that will save money, protect personnel and valuable assets.”
The new Guardtrax GT2 combines GPS, RFID and GPRS technologies which track, monitor and manage security officer activities and location in real-time. RFID provides interior checkpoints while GPS provides location tracking during exterior patrols. The GT2 features incident reporting, time and attendance tools, mobile phone functionality, a motion sensor and panic button.
Among the GT2 features are:
· Improved Worker Productivity -- Remotely track, monitor and manage an entire roster of guards in real time, ensuring all job duties are being performed indoors and outdoors. Eliminates sleeping guard syndrome, while protecting guards at every moment.
· Improved Operations – Automatically record shift begin and end times, when breaks are taken and specific security related events for accurate reporting and billing.
· Decreased Risk – By tracking a guard’s location and documenting movement in real time, pinpointing his/her location at the time of an incident is easy and reduces liability and risk.
· Enhance Customer Service – Quickly respond to events and generate requested reports on demand providing unparalleled service.

Adopting Cloud computing can save money, but good governance is essential to manage the risk argues Mike Small
