Golden Software releases Voxler 2

Voxler enables you to quickly import data in a multitude of file types to create stunning 3D graphics, maps, and models to explore relationships between data sets.

Voxler is designed primarily for scientific applications, yet appropriate for anyone who wants to see the distribution of 3D data. Frequent Voxler uses include mapping and modeling data from seismic readings, drill holes, remote sensing surveys, groundwater and soil contamination, subsurfaces, concentrations of minerals, well paths, GPR, oil and gas deposits, elevation studies, reservoir characterizations, resistivity, velocity, particle distribution, and much more.

This robust, yet easy to use, program gives you true, full 3D power to display data in a variety of colors, views, and 3D formats. Use Voxler by itself or with other Golden Software products. For example,

· Digitize and/or georeference your images in Didger® or MapViewer™ and import the georeferenced image directly into Voxler in the correct location

· Create boreholes in Strater® or a cross section in Grapher™; then export to an image format and import into Voxler for a true 3D view

· Overlay hatch maps or pie maps created in MapViewer with images, well data, topography, etc. in Voxler to create a true 3D compilation

· Write a script that integrates your map creation in MapViewer and Voxler through Scripter to show your thematic map and its features in 3D
