Global Seeps covers NELP VII offshore blocks

23 January 2008 - Infoterra Ltd, a leader in the provision of geospatial products and services, is attending the Directorate General of Hydrocarbon's (DGH) NELP VII road shows in London, Houston and Calgary.

Infoterra has mapped approximately 60 million square kilometres of global offshore basins, constructed by interpreting radar satellite data and screening offshore basins to a water depth of c. 3,000 metres.

In the 7th round of the New Exploration Licensing Policy (NELP) of India, a total of 57 blocks are on offer for the exploration of oil and gas. Infoterra's Global Seeps database covers over 3 million square kilometres of offshore India, including the new NELP VII offshore exploration blocks.
