2008-04-23 - Russian first geoportals workshop to take place at “GEO-Siberia 2008” Forum
ScanEx R&D Center – the originator of the first Russian geoportal Kosmosnimki – will partake in the exhibition at “GEO-Siberia 2008” Forum! The event is to take place on April 22-24 in Novosibirsk at the International Exhibition Complex “Siberian Fair”.
ScanEx specialists will host a two-hour introduction workshop “Geoportal as a tool for territory management”. ScanEx’s mission, technology and RS industry situation and development trends will be described, as well as the possibilities of using space data in a variety of economic activities. Advantages of geoportals when operating with geospatial data will be highlighted with application examples and operation principles.
The workshop is intended for any participants and its goal is to give an insight into the advantages of using space images to both professionals and young specialists. All the participants will be provided with reference documents and gifts.
