4 May 2010 - A recent review of the GeoEye-1 archive shows a substantial increase in recent data coverage in Australia in comparison to the previous 2 years. More than 1 million sqkm of data has been captured in recent months.
The 50cm imagery (originally captured at a resolution as small as 41cm at nadir) is proving popular with groups as diverse as agribusiness, energy companies, mining and government.
