GeoMessTechnik Heger (GMT Heger) will introduce the new add-on gyroscope GYROMAX™ AK-2M with remote control unit (RCU) at INTERGEO 2009 in Karlsruhe. North seeking gyroscopes are made for quick detection of the true north.
The new unit is designed for use in education, mining and tunnelling measurements. Nearly all theodolites or total stations could be attached (LEICA, TOPCON,TRIMBLE, ZEISS). The RCU makes measurement more convenient and helps to reduce rotational swinging during measurement.
NEW is the GYROMAX_CONTROL Software with ´bluetooth´-connection and a RPDA for data collection from the total station and automatic calculation of the azimuth.
Since 1996 the GYROMAX AK-2M gyroscope is used in many European and international universities, in mining (coal, gold, platinum, copper) and tunnelling.
We do service, repair and calibration of gyroscopes like WILD / GAK and similar.
Please ask for training courses in gyro-measurement !
