Now that summer is over and classes are getting started again, we would like to provide you with an update on GEOBIA 2010.
GEOBIA 2010 is a conference on GEOGRAPHIC OBJECT-BASED IMAGE ANALYSIS for scientists and practitioners from all over the world. Organized by Ghent University, Utrecht University, ITC and ISPRS in the beautiful city of Ghent, Belgium from 29 June to 2 July 2010.
With oral and poster presentations besides hands-on computer workshops. We have a confirmation on a special issue in Elsevier’s Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation to be published in 2011. We already welcomed two major providers on object-based image analysis software, Definiens and ITT(ENVI), who will organize computer workshops. We are negotiating with two other providers.
GIM International is our media partner.
Abstract submission is by 15 October 2009.
