Introducing the new Full-Crossline Laser LX442
ALMERE, The Netherlands, April 2009, SOKKIA BV, European head office, proudly announces the release of the new LX442 interior Laser. Featuring full-crossline projection, high-speed self-leveling, wireless operation and robust body, the LX442 significantly increases work efficiency in leveling, plumbing, squaring, alignment and layout applications.
Features
Full Crosslines
- The LX442 is capable of projecting a 360° horizontal line, four vertical lines that cross at the ceiling and a plumb-down beam.
- Full-line capability minimizes the need for changes of instrument setup.
- Each line is as accurate as ±1mm@10m or ±0.04 in.@33 ft.
- Laser lines to be projected can be selected by an instrument keypad or by a wireless remote.
Exceptional Speed in Self-Leveling
- Newly developed electronic self-leveling mechanism realizes unmatched leveling speed that saves considerable time in instrument setup.
- This mechanism provides more stable lines than pendulum- or gimbal-type lasers in sites subject to vibration.
Robust Body
- The IP54 dust- and water-resistant body withstands harsh worksite conditions.
Batteries and AC Power
- Powered by four R6 (AA) alkaline/Ni-MH batteries, or by 100V to 240V AC.
- The AC power cable is connected to the fixed lower section and will not rotate with the upper laser section, preventing tangling of the cable.
Other Convenient Features
- Using Line-Lock function, the LX442 can be set to the desired angle for slope works.
- A laser detector is equipped as standard.
- Standard wireless remote allows selection of horizontal/vertical lines, line-lock and detector mode.
