Karlsruhe, Germany, August 11, 2010. How can we ensure future-orientated mobility in urban areas? A major challenge is to reconcile
the demand of municipalities and citizens for smart mobility.
Stakeholders from public authorities, science and industry will be discussing promising mobility concepts at the PTV ITS Conference in
Düsseldorf on October 11. Further conference details are available at the link below.
Different interests and needs - one common goal: Countries, cities, municipalities, infrastructure providers, transport associations, car manufacturers as well as public transport operators, energy providers, telecommunication operators and software providers want to develop solutions that make urban mobility more attractive. But how can we
make all protagonists work together?
PTV ITS Conference, which will take place in Düsseldorf on October 11, is the right forum to discuss these issues. A list of international speakers from public authorities, industry and research has been pulled together. The City of Düsseldorf will for example present its innovative traffic management system, Peugeot will focus on scenarios for electric vehicles and Frost&Sullivan will give key insights into the latest research studies. Novel mobility concepts and ideas from Denmark, Belgium and North America are also on the packed agenda.
In addition to numerous insightful presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with peers. To complement the learning-packed days, PTV is offering an entertaining evening event. The detailed agenda including registration form is available at the link below.
