Fredericton, NB, Canada — April 15, 2009 — Flemish Hydrography has extended an invitation to the worldwide community of CARIS Hydrographic Production Database (HPD) software users to a User Group Meeting being hosted in the beautiful city of Oostende, Belgium on May 26-27, 2009.
HPD User Group Meetings deliver a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange among this rapidly expanding group of new and experienced HPD Users. Previous HPD User Group Meetings have been hosted by the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office and the Canadian Hydrographic Service.
CARIS HPD software is used by more than twenty of the world’s most prominent hydrographic offices. It is an enterprise production environment where multiple products, such as paper and electronic charts, are created and updated from a centrally managed source.
An agenda for the Belgium meeting has been developed to stimulate proactive and productive information exchange. Participants will have the opportunity to deliver an overview of their HPD implementation and discuss their experiences with the software. CARIS technical specialists will participate to deliver candid updates on current and future HPD development plans while providing valuable answers and feedback.
Organizations from Europe, North America and South America have already confirmed their attendance. To learn more visit the web site below.
