FIG Newsletter Article of the Month – October 2008

FIG publishes on their website each month a paper called the "Article of the Month". This is a high-level paper focusing on interesting topics to all surveyors. It can be picked up from an FIG conference or another event.
The Article of the Month in October 2008 is written by Dr. Anna K. Tibaijuka, Under Secretary General and Executive Director UN-HABITAT.
Her paper “Improving Slum Conditions through Innovative Financing” was presented as the keynote address at the Opening Ceremony of the FIG Working Week 2008 in Stockholm, Sweden 15 June 2008.
