Esri Hosts Seminar on ArcGIS 10

Redlands, California — August 10, 2010 — Esri is offering a free, daylong seminar, Increase Productivity with ArcGIS 10, that will benefit professionals in all industries, whether they are working in a desktop, mobile, server, or cloud environment. This educational event will take place September through November of this year and will be held in more than 70 U.S. cities.

"Both current Esri users and those new to geospatial technology will find great value in the seminar," says Esri president Jack Dangermond. "Attendees will learn about the power of ArcGIS as a system for better decision making and discover new tools and capabilities in ArcGIS 10 that will help them gain additional efficiency in their daily work."

Attendees will

· See how ArcGIS is a powerful system that facilitates the creation, management, analysis, and dissemination of information.

· Learn practical ways to achieve enhanced analysis, access imagery, make better use of the Web, apply ArcGIS in the field, and more.

· Discover better ways to launch and manage geospatial projects as well as an enterprise geographic information system (GIS).

· Understand how to promote collaboration both inside and outside an organization.

ArcGIS experts will be available to answer questions. Participants will also be able to interact with peers and share experiences and successes. The seminar will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m.; lunch will be provided. Seminar registration for cities nationwide, as well as an agenda, is available at the link below.
