East View Cartographic New Agreements

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - East View Cartographic (EVC) is proud to announce it has become

Land Agency in Jamaica.

This agreement allows EVC to sell digital raster versions of the 20 sheet 1:50,000

entire country. EVC has acquired and signed digital rights agreements to offer these
unique locally produced geospatial to its numerous customer segments which include:
academic libraries, regional and international governmental agencies, defense &
intelligence communities, oil, gas and mining corporations and avionics corporations.
EVC has embarked on an aggressive mission to acquire the world's largest commercially-available collection of locally produced cartography and GIS data from all of the countries of the world. Jamaica now accompanies EVC's similar success in Bangladesh, Botswana, Fiji, Jordan, Madagascar, Kenya, and South Africa.
According to Kent Lee, CEO of EVC, "Geospatial data is being produced on a daily basis at staggering rates. Commercial satellites, National Mapping Agencies and global corporations produce terabytes daily. EVC exists to know what kind of geospatial
data is available over any area of interest on the planet. Knowing what data is available is valuable in its own right but being able to deliver the data while adhering to data licensing provisions is really where EVC shines and provides value to thousands of entities each year. This new relationship with Jamaica continues our commitment to being the place to come to find geospatial data from around the globe."
