Rotterdam, – March 22, 2010 – Eagle B.V. (Eagle) and Group 1 Solutions, Inc. (Group 1) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the intent to enter into a collaborative business relationship. Eagle and Group 1 will work in partnership to serve the Public Safety Industry with mobile and crisis management solutions using geographic information technologies.
Group 1’s software, Remote Access™, addresses the tactical response requirements of the public safety industry. Eagle’s suite of applications and services enables multiple agencies to collaborate seamlessly in order to increase responsiveness and support fast and effective decision-making in a highly complex environment. Group 1 and Eagle will integrate these applications and their experiences to create an un-paralleled set of solutions for the public safety industry. The intent is to offer this software suite worldwide, with Group 1 serving the US market and Eagle managing the European market.
Eagle is a leading provider of ESRI technology in the Public Safety market in Europe. They are known for improving communication through their crisis management system, Eagle, which allows individuals to easily access and share relevant geographical information, thus improving operations in crisis management.
Group 1 is a GIS-based software and services company that helps first responders make quicker and more informed decisions for emergency responses. As an authorized ESRI Business Partner, they are known for providing a simple software interface to view multiple types and sources of information, in addition to complementary consulting services.
