ERDAS at Map Asia

Norcross, GA — ERDAS announces its participation at Map Asia, August 18-20, 2008 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Kaushik Chakraborty, Vice President – Asia Pacific, ERDAS, will be a keynote speaker discussing “Technology Trends.”

Exhibiting in booth #42, ERDAS is highlighting the recent announced ERDAS APOLLO 2009, a new generation Geospatial Business System that eliminates the walls between GIS, photogrammetry and remote sensing, extending geospatial data to business applications throughout an organization. ERDAS APOLLO solves the business problems associated with managing and serving large volumes of geospatial data located and distributed across an organization.

ERDAS is also featuring ERDAS IMAGINE and LPS, the industry’s leading and most complete collection of software tools designed to manipulate, process and understand imagery and streamline numerous photogrammetry processes. In addition, ERDAS is also highlighting IMAGINE Objective and ERDAS TITAN.

“Map Asia continues to be an important show for us, supporting our growing customer base throughout the Asia Pacific region,” said Kaushik Chakraborty. “We are excited to showcase our new releases, including ERDAS APOLLO, an alternative to existing market solutions that simplifies the utilization of vector, raster and terrain data across an organization.”

Map Asia leverages an international initiative aimed to provide a platform for the convergence, sharing and use of geospatial technologies. Founded in 2002, Map Asia is the largest annual Asian GIS, GPS, aerial photography and remote sensing conference.
