ERDAS at LandView User Conference in Beijing

Norcross (Georgia, USA) – ERDAS announces its participation in the LandView User Conference in Beijing, China, April 24, 2008. Beijing Digital LandView Technology Company Limited is the official ERDAS distributor in China.

The LandView User Conference includes an extensive presentation of ERDAS’ products and solutions, welcoming more than 300 Chinese customers. Attendees include decision-makers and technical experts from various sectors like land resources, agriculture, surveying and mapping, environment, water resources, meteorology, defense, education, geographic research, communications and transportation.

Brad Skelton, CTO, ERDAS will introduce the strategy of the new ERDAS, to maximize the value of geospatial information throughout enterprises’ business processes. Christian Lempereur, Business and Market Development Manager, ERDAS, will discuss the interoperability of nationwide Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI), Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

ERDAS product specialists will also showcase the newest functionalities of ERDAS’ solutions for authoring, managing, connecting and delivering geospatial information.
