ERDAS at ASPRS Annual Conference

Norcross, GA – ERDAS Inc. announces its participation in the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Annual Conference in Baltimore, Maryland, March 11-13, 2009 at the Marriott Waterfront.

Prior to the conference, ERDAS is hosting a Users Group Meeting (UGM) on Tuesday, March 10, from 1-5 p.m. in Harborside B of the Marriott Waterfront. The theme for the UGM is “Celebrate the Past…IMAGINE What’s Next!” The UGM includes a keynote address by Nick Faust, Vice President, International Centre for Remote Sensing Education, two customer presentations, an interoperability demo and product updates from the Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry and Enterprise Directors at ERDAS.

Exhibiting in booth #601, ERDAS is showcasing the latest releases of ERDAS IMAGINE and LPS, the industry’s leading and most complete collection of software tools designed to manipulate, process and understand imagery and streamline numerous photogrammetry processes. ERDAS IMAGINE combines remotes sensing and GIS capabilities to extract information and create and update geospatial data. LPS is an integrated suite of photogrammetry software tools for generating terrain models, producing orthophotos and extracting 3D features.

ERDAS is also highlighting ERDAS APOLLO, an Open Geospatial Consortium and International Organization for Standardization (OGC/ISO) compliant enterprise solution for spatial data management, image serving and web mapping. ERDAS APOLLO solves the business problems associated with managing and serving large volumes of geospatial data located and distributed across an organization. ERDAS APOLLO simplifies the utilization of vector, raster and terrain data.
