ERDAS at ASPRS 2008 Annual Conference

Norcross, GA – ERDAS, Inc. announces its participation in the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) 2008 Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon, April 30 - May 2, 2008 at the Oregon Convention Center.

Prior to the conference, ERDAS is hosting a Users Group Meeting (UGM) on Tuesday, April 29 from 8:00 a.m. to12:00 p.m. in Room A-106 of the Oregon Convention Center. The UGM includes a presentation by Bob Morris, ERDAS President & CEO and several demonstrations by ERDAS Product Managers, highlighting ERDAS Image Manager, ERDAS TITAN, LPS and several other solutions.

Exhibiting in booth #200, ERDAS is showcasing a broad array of enterprise solutions implementing Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs), including the recently announced ERDAS Image Manager, a solution for efficiently storing and quickly sharing imagery throughout the enterprise. ERDAS Image Manager solves business problems associated with securely discovering, describing, cataloging and serving imagery to a variety of web and rich client applications throughout an organization. In addition, ERDAS is also highlighting a new tool providing object-based multi-scale image classification and feature extraction capabilities for building and maintaining accurate geospatial content.

ERDAS is also featuring ERDAS IMAGINE 9.2 and LPS 9.2, the industry’s leading and most complete collection of software tools designed to manipulate, process and understand imagery and streamline numerous photogrammetry processes.
