New York, London, UK, Singapore & Sao Paulo: August 18, 2010 — The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) today announced the initial speaker line up of global brands for its upcoming Mobile Marketing Association Forum EMEA in London. Under the theme ‘now and next’, twenty of the world’s leading marketers will assemble to share their thoughts and experiences of the mobile channel on October 5th – 6th. BMW, CNN, Coca-Cola, Electronic Arts, ITV, Kraft, Marks & Spencer, Microsoft, Procter and Gamble, Unilever and The Guardian have already been confirmed, with more to follow in the coming months.
The event brings together leading marketers from across the world to share their experiences, challenges, learnings and successes in the mobile marketing field. Held at the Thistle Marble Arch, London, the programme will include speakers from many different vertical sectors including automotive, banking, charities, food and drink, entertainment, FMCG, media, sport and technology, as well as delivering insight into global mobile marketing trends.
“This event is all about the brands that are driving the industry forward. Technologies are clearly the enabler, but hearing directly from the marketers and agencies is critical for the development of the channel and the industry. In combination with this, the speakers are from among the largest global brands and with a wide geographic spread, highlighting just how much the mobile channel is driving the evolution of marketing methods,” said Paul Berney, CMO & managing director of the MMA in EMEA.
New for 2010, the event will include a mobile experience lab: an interactive way for delegates to hear from the industry’s thought leaders, experience mobile campaigns firsthand, and interact with brands using mobile as part of their integrated marketing strategy. Each mobile campaign features a booth that provides attendees with an interactive, hands-on opportunity to experience the campaign from an end user’s perspective.
The event has attracted a prestigious list of sponsors which currently include Alcatel Lucent, Gemalto, Microsoft, and OpenMarket. Informa is the official event partner.
