Under the terms of this partner agreement, Lagen Spatial becomes an authorized Value Added Reseller of Definiens. It will distribute Definiens Enterprise Image Intelligence™ Suite and related geospatial applications and services in Australia and in the Pacific countries.

“Committed to providing the best geospatial products and services, we are delighted to add Definiens image analysis software to our offering”, said Brett Madsen, CEO of Lagen Spatial. “These high-end products will enable us to automatically extract knowledge from digital images and provide our customers with reliable information to - for example - create impervious surface maps.”

Definiens provides the cutting-edge technology for analyzing and interpreting images on every scale, and is the perfect match to Lagen Spatial’s geospatial solutions which include consulting, support, software development and systems integration. Future and existing customers in the government sector, particularly in city councils, will benefit from Lagen Spatial’s enhanced offering - which also includes local contact persons, regional support and market insights.

Lagen Spatial’s strong market presence as well as its network of potential customers and key players in Australia will also strengthen Definiens position in these regions.

"Australia and the Pacific region represent a strategically important and booming market for our products and technologies," says Ralph Humberg, VP Business Development at Definiens. "By partnering with Lagen Spatial, a well-positioned company with in-depth expertise in providing geospatial solutions and services, we are confident that Definiens products will make further significant inroads into these markets."
