Danish Ministry chooses Topcon GRS-1

Capelle a/d IJssel, The Netherlands, January 15th, 2010, Topcon Europe Positioning B.V. is proud to announce that our Danish distributor ToppTopo A/S has won a tender for the delivery of 100 GRS-1 to the Danish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries (Plantedirektoratet).

Stefan Naumann, GIS Sales Manager at Topcon Europe said: “This tender is another milestone in the history of Topcon GIS in Agricultural Business. It shows that Topcon offers flexible and customisable software solutions. These devices will be used shortly throughout Denmark for spot checking of agricultural land parcels.”

He adds: “The GRS-1 is an ideal network rover with it’s internal GSM modem and advanced features such as the integrated camera and with GPS+GLONASS satellite tracking, will ensure the high quality area measurement that is required by the ministry.”

In the next few weeks delivery and training for the users will take place.
