The 5th annual DGI conference, dedicated to geospatial intelligence and key technologies used to maximise it’s use in defence and civilian organisations, is taking place QEII Exhibition Centre in London between the 19th and 22nd of January.

In 2008 we welcomed over 550 attendees, from 26 different countries.

* We are currently working with the Heads of GIS at key European and US MoDs, mapping agencies as well as their civilian colleagues (from the police, ambulance, emergency response and global humanitarian aid organisations), in order to find out about the latest geospatial intelligence developments want to see covered in the 2009 DGI conference agenda.

Key objectives of our audience –

1. Collecting the best available data from all appropriate sensor organisations

2. Managing and analysing the information to build intelligent databases and decision making tools.

3. Getting that information effectively to the right end user, in-theatre in HQ, or in the city.

3. The lack of real-life practical success stories in web based and mobile applications means there is little confidence in the viability of web access at this point in time.
