The Pacific Islands Benthic Habitat Mapping Center, a program within NOAA's Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center's Coral Reef Ecosystem Division and supported by the Coral Reef Conservation Program, is glad to inform all of you that the *backscatter imagery* for *American Samoa* and *Maro Reef*, Northwest Hawaiian Islands are now available for download.
These data were collected during the Reef Assessment and Monitoring Program cruises in 2004 and 2006 (Am. Samoa) and in 2005 (Maro Reef). The grids are available as NetCDF/GMT grids, GeoTIFFs and/or ASCII grids. They all include extensive metadata. The metadata also refer to related cruise metadata that may be downloaded from:
http://www.soest.hawaii.edu/pibhmc/pibhmc_cruise-catalog.htm.
