Colortrac SmartLF wide format scanners at show

2nd February 2010 - St Ives, Cambridge, UK - Colortrac Inc will demonstrate the full range of SmartLF wide format scanners and scanning software solutions at the annual Graphics of the Americas exhibition in Miami, Florida, during February 25th to 27th.

Distributors, dealers and end users visiting the show will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of Colortrac’s acclaimed, industry-leading large format SmartLF scanning solutions at the Colortrac booth #1011.

Highlight products include the best selling SmartLF Ci 40 technical imaging scanners and the SmartLF Gx+ 42 graphics scanners.

Both of these large format scanners were rated "Outstanding" and "Best in Class" by BERTL, (Business Equipment Research and Testing Laboratory), an authoritative and independent business product evaluator. Colortrac is the first and only large format scanner manufacturer to achieve a "Best in Class" distinction for both its CIS (contact image sensor) and CCD (charge coupled device) imaging technology.

Also on display will be the SmartLF Gx+ 56, the world's widest large format color graphics scanner. At the other, shorter end of the scale, Colortrac Inc will be demonstrating two A1 / D-size large format scanners, the 28" wide, CCD-based SmartLF Gx+ 28 and the new 24" wide, CIS-based SmartLF Ci 24, its latest scanner.

The SmartLF Ci 24 uses exactly the same design as the award-winning SmartLF Ci 40. Both offer the unique and practical benefit of a front exit media path. When used as a desktop scanner, the SmartLF Ci 24's small footprint and front exiting media offers a huge space-saving advantage over rear exiting scanners.

All SmartLF scanners will be demonstrated running Colortrac's SmartLF All-in-One Software, (supplied with every SmartLF scanner), as well as the optional and more powerful ScanWorks (for scanning technical documents and maps) and CopySmart (professional color capture and scan to copy software).
