Colortrac Inc. relocates to Chantilly, VA

26 October 2009 - St Ives, Cambs, UK. - Colortrac Inc., the American distributor of SmartLF large format scanners, has closed its offices in Golden, Colorado and relocated with immediate effect to new headquarters in Chantilly, Virginia.

At the same time, the large format scanning solutions supplier has hired Fred Pagani, who joins Colortrac Inc. as its new North American Service Manager. Fred has over 15 years in the Wide Format Monochrome and Color Scanner industry, has a wealth of experience in support and training, and is well known for his attention to customer satisfaction.

Malcolm Lane, President of Colortrac Inc. says "The move to Virginia and the addition of Fred Pagani will help us better provide support for our distribution channels and positions us for future growth within the Wide Format Scanner market".

Colortrac Inc. is committed to providing the Americas with large format scanners and scanning solutions software at the most competitive prices while offering its fast growing customer base efficient and friendly support and product maintenance. The new corporate headquarters' increased floor space give Colortrac Inc. the option to employ more US staff capable of sustaining and supporting its continued and future US expansion.

Colortrac opened its first US office in 1997. Since acquiring ANA Tech and Tangent Imaging Systems in 1999, it has been based in Golden, Colorado. Key staff have now transferred from Golden to Chantilly. The relocation was effective from 1st October 2009.

Fred Pagani joins Colortrac Inc. as North American Service Manager.

Colortrac has expanded its user base while hiring key management, quality assurance and technical support staff. The newest recruit is Fred Pagani who joins Colortrac Inc. as its North American Service Manager.

Well-known in the large format industry, Fred has many years of experience supporting wide format scanners and software in the Americas. Fred first joined Vidar Systems Corporation, then a leading large format scanner manufacturer, in 1994. When Vidar purchased Colortrac's large format color scanning technology, Fred worked with Colortrac staff to produce Vidar's first color scanner. After Contex Scanning Technology acquired Vidar in 2002, Fred supported Contex's American distribution channels, large format dealers and independent service providers. Fred is an experienced trainer who commenced supporting Colortrac SmartLF products and operations from the 5th October 2009 following his return from Colortrac's UK head office.
